Children are an important part of Calvary in Savannah.
Our desire is for each boy and girl to learn of God’s
love and plan for their lives and become a part of God’s Kingdom.
A team of faithful and dedicated leaders will nurture and teach
your child biblical truths in a safe environment with age appropriate activities.

   

 

 Opportunities for Calvary Kidz

Calvary in Savannah offers an age-graded, developmentally-appropriate Sunday School program with a Bible-centered curriculum in order that our children may learn biblical truths and grow spiritually. Children’s Classes

 

 

Children’s Worship: The Clubhouse
Kindergarten- Grade 5

 

Children’s worship is a weekly experience during our 10:15 worship hour designed for children to learn biblical truths in an age-appropriate worship setting. The Clubhouse is a place where all kids will feel a sense of belonging. Matthew 19:14 says, “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”

Children’s Music Ministry (CMM)

The Children’s Music Ministry is age-graded (1st grade- 5th grade) that uses contemporary and traditional music to teach biblical truth in a “fun” setting by using musical concepts and fundamentals.

Calvary’s Children’s Music Ministry (CMM) is focused on the spiritual development of children by having fun while praising the Lord through music and the arts.  Children memorize songs, play instruments, participate in musicals, and use sign language to further their interest in music.  The CMM is offered only from September- December.  They sing during Calvary worship services and other special events.

 

 

 

 

SOUL SURVIVOR

Soul Survivor is a children’s ministry with an emphasis on missions.  It is for ages 3 through 5th grade.  The children play games, enjoy arts and crafts, learn about missionaries, memorize scripture, and actively participate in age appropriate mission projects.  Soul Survivor is offered from January – May.

There will be adult Bible Classes available during these times.

The Soul Survivor, RA boys went to Camp Kaleo (Forsyth, Georgia) in April for a camporee and had a blast!.  They left at noon on Friday and camped outdoors that night.  They had worship time by a huge bonfire.  The next day was full of fun and adventure as the boys and their fearless leaders were able to experience all that they had prepared for during the year- wildwood run, rope tying, compass reading. bird watching, chariot racing, air rifles, canoeing,  and nature hunt. Our boys won 3 individual trophies and 6 group trophies.  Congratulations!! 

Grand Slam for Kids

A class to help your child become a stronger Christian. Discovery 101 is a class designed to teach new Christians how to grow spiritually and what our church believes including the importance of and effective ways to read your Bible, praying, and baptism.
