Media Ministries

This ministry includes Sound Engineering, Lighting for Worship, and Presentation Systems and Media Distribution Services.

Sound Engineers support all gatherings in small or large settings that need sound reinforcement. The Sound Techs must set up and strike the gear needed in each venue and engineer the services. Basic signal flow understanding and some musical experience are helpful.

Lighting Technicians provide engineering for worship in the “big house” for services and events held there. The system involves some basic understanding of theatrical lighting techniques and a team spirit.

Calvary uses computer-aided graphics to enhance the worship experience of each person attending our Worship Services. We use presentation software designed for this purpose. It adds to the impact of the worship experience, saves valuable time, and helps to disseminate information.

CiS also offers distribution of Sermon Series DVD’s and CD’s of all worship services as well as apparel and other items whose purpose is to enlarge, encourage, and equip the saints at Calvary in Savannah. Our Media Distribution Services Table is open before and after each service at CiS and online at Calvaryinsavannah.org.
