Choir

The Temple Choir is a gathering of servants whose purpose it is to lead out in praise and worship “in the great assembly.” The Levites of the Old Testament are the scriptural model for this choir. The tribe of Levi was charged with the responsibility to make music in the temple; continually offering up praise to the Lord for He is worthy and “His mercy endures forever.”

Our Temple Choir has this mind-set: to lead this people in worship and to be worshipers of the sort the Father seeks. He seeks those who would “worship in Spirit and in Truth.”

This choir sings each week in Worship and does several special worship projects each year. No audition is required to join. The only prerequisite is a joyful heart, the willingness to be faithful, and have a servant attitude.

The Temple Choir meets in the choir rehearsal room (behind the Worship Center) each Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:15. Childcare is provided. Worship soloists, Worship Teams, and small performance groups are selected from the Temple Choir.
